Before Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan, Bollywood does it

It is known that Ram Charan had acquired the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam super hit Driving License. He even convinced Pawan Kalyan to play the lead role in the film. Even Charan was supposed to play a role in the film, but he later opted out for undisclosed reasons. The makers then approached Ravi Teja for the role.
But even before Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, and Ravi Teja could start working on the Telugu remake of Driving License, Bollywood has taken up the project.
The Hindi remake of Driving License has been titled 'Selfie' and it was announced in style yesterday. The Hindi remake has Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.
Karan Johar has bagged the Hindi remake rights of Driving License and he announced the project yesterday. Even the first look poster was unveiled to publicize the commencement of the project.
Raj Mehta will be directing this project. Interestingly enough, Bollywood has taken this project onto the floors even before Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan could.
