During this lockdown period, hotshot OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime are proving to be a great sources of entertainment. There are a lot of movies you can watch but you want to binge watch and kill the time for a good 2-3 days, then here are our picks of a few original web-series that you shouldn't miss.

1. Inside Edge

If you are interested in a series which deals with money, betting and the corruption that is involved in the biggest game of India which is Cricket, then definitely have a look at 'Inside Edge'. Starring known actors like Siddharth Chaturvedi, Vivek Oberai, Richa Chadda and others, this two seasons Amazon web-series is an interesting watch you shouldn't miss.

2. Breathe

Starring Madhavan in the lead role, 'Breathe' is the story about a father going to extreme limits to save his daughter. This show makes you sit on the edge of your seat and has many layers to it. Don't miss this one if you love thriller stories.

3. Family man

The highly talented Manoj Bajpayee, 'Family Man' is a special officer who hides his identity to his family and works to curb the criminals and anti-national forces. This action-based Amazon series mixed with good humour got super popular last year. The second season is getting ready and Samantha is going to play a key role in this.

4. Mirzapur

If you are a fan of gangster dramas, then 'Mirzapur' is definitely a good watch. Not so family friendly, 'Mirzapur' is filled with blood, gore, guns, sex and some brilliant acting. It keeps you hooking right from the beginning. Fans are eagerly wating from Amazon Prime to release its second season.

5. Laakhon Mein Ek

This Amazon Prime original different from all the above mentioned ones as this deals with a youngster who tries to get into a engineering college and gets into coaching. Series deals with pressure faced by every student and the drama in it connects with everyone. This is the one which shouldn't missed.

There are few more Amazon web-series like 'Four More Shots', 'Made In Heaven', 'Pushpavalli', 'Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare' that you can try out. These are all the Indian content and mostly Hindi ones.

6. Sacred Games

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddhiqui, Radhika Apte, and many others, this series directed by Anurag Kashyap is very popular. It is a complete police and gangster drama which runs on a very interesting note. The Netflix original has two seasons and if you don't mind the filthy language and sex scenes, this one is a must watch for gangster drama lovers.

7. Little Things

This is a perfect romantic-comedy series that follows the life of a couple and their daily life and how they gets past minor obstacles and manage to be happy after all these years. There are three seasons to this Netflix light hearted show and if you want to just sit and enjoy a series with a bucket of popcorn, don't miss this.

8. Jamtara

Inspired by true events and set up in a village called 'Jamtara', this series follows the story of cousins Sunny, Rocky and their friends who run a successful phishing business and how the police department catches them makes for an engaging watch. Have a look at it if you are up for some good content on Netflix.

9. She

Imtiaz Ali's first attempt on web series, Netflix's 'She' is the story of a lower middle-class women who becomes a police constable and goes undercover as a sex worker for a specific mission. Backed by some great performances, this recently released series is worth the watch.

10. Delhi Crime

As the name suggests, Delhi Crime is a Netflix seven-part series that is inspired by the shocking and unfortunate rape incidents in Delhi. This drama is more than an investigation as it deals with many layers and stories like bureaucratic pressures, media sensationalism and many others.
