Bharat Is Top 5 In the Highest Day-1 South Grossers List

Super Star Mahesh Babu latest film 'Bharat Ane Nenu' received a thumping response on the opening day. By grossing Rs.55 crores worldwide on day-1, the movie secured the fifth place in the Highest Grossing South Indian Films list.

While 'Baahubali 2' is leading the list with Rs. 214 crores, Rajini starrer 'Kabali' is in the second place with 87.5 crores. Baahubali (Rs.73 cr), Agnyaathavaasi (Rs.60.5 cr) are following in third and fourth places. 'Bharat Ane Nenu'(Rs.55 cr) has pushed 'Khaidi No. 150'(50.45 cr) to the sixth position to secure the fifth position.

What's more interesting is the list is dominated by Telugu films if we look at the top ten positions. Except 'Kabali' and 'Mersal', all other films are Telugu.
