That Project wasn't shelved at all: Dil Raju

Dil Raju grabbed the attention of people in South India with the launch of Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' to be directed by Shankar. However, Speculations began doing rounds that the project has been shelved.
Responding on the rumours, Dil Raju clarified: 'If we shelve the project, I myself would make an announcement. 'Indian 2' is going to happen for sure'.
As per rumours mills, AM Ratnam who was the producer of 'Bharateeyudu' is keen to co-produce 'Indian 2'. He is sending feelers to Dil Raju to make him accept the deal. However, Dil Raju is neither saying yes or no to the proposal. The Producer conveyed to AM Ratnam that it's up to Shankar to decide who should produce the project and he can't do anything about it.
Even if Shankar refuse the proposal, AM Ratnam could no way stop 'Indian 2' as it has got nothing to do with 'Bharateeyudu'. Just having an extension for the old title can't fetch him any right to claim ownership. For example, The Producers of 'Raju Gari Gadhi' and 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' are different.
