Bheemla Nayak:Ticket Rates Issue popped up yet again!

The infamous movie ticket prices issue is the news for one more time as the revenue department officials have sent circulars to the theater managements across the state directing them to fix the ticket rates under the new Go no 35, which was issued by the Andhra Pradesh government recently.

A note announcing that no benefit shows will be permitted for Bheemla Nayak and the ticket prices should be under GO No 35 is now doing rounds on social media. The note also says that those who violate the rules will not be spared.

The viral letter was written in the name of Gudlavalleru Tahasildar, which says that the management has to follow the orders like no extra shows and no ticket sales at higher prices. If the rules are violated, then they will be punished under the Cinematograph Act.

The Andhra Pradesh government had reportedly brought the GO issue before the release of Pawan Kalyan's film for one more time.

It has to be mentioned here that the movie ticket prices row was brought when Pawan Kalyan's comeback film Vakeel Saab was released. The Andhra Pradesh government said no to special shows and extra shows and even directed the theatre management to not sell the tickets for higher prices.

Though the High Court gave a temporary relief for Vakeel Saab permitting a few extra shows and a hike the ticket prices, the issue gave birth to a bigger hurdle for the Tollywood film industry.

Following the issue, the Andhra Pradesh government brought a controversial GO to regulate ticket prices. Based on the area of the theatres, the ticket prices were fixed and the theatres were asked to sell tickets as per the GO.

As the GO will push the Tollywood film industry into deeper losses, the industry held multiple talks with the Andhra Pradesh government. Recently, a delegation of industry-led by Megastar Chiranjeevi met the government.

After the meeting, the members of the Tollywood industry said that the government had responded positively and sounded confident that the issue will be resolved. However, it looks like the issue is not over yet
