Bhumi Padnekar comments on pay disparity!

Hindi actress Bhumi Padnekar is one of the few highly vocal actresses of Indian Cinema. She talked to press during her recent film, Badhaai Do promotinal tour.
She commented about pay disparity in Film Industry and said that many of her friends/peers have told her that they're asked to take a pay cut.
She further stated that only actresses are expected to take a pay cut while no actor told her that they were asked to take a pay cut.
She expressed exasperation towards producers asking actresses to take pay cuts while actors get the amount they demand. She said the existence of pay disparity is real and it is ridiculous for producers to expect only actresses to "adjust with changed COVID pandemic times".
Her film Badhaai Do recently released and has Rajkummar Rao as her co-lead. Critics found the movie interesting and funny.
