Big Bollywood Releases Gets Pushed Into 2021!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Nov 2020 11:25 AM IST2020 has been a nightmare for everyone. The film industry was heavily affected by it since the shootings were kept on hold for six months and the theatres were shut down. Everything came to a standstill and it is becoming difficult to find a way to move on.
These festive seasons used to be full of exciting releases in Bollywood. Salman Khan's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali', Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi', Varun Dhawan's 'Coolie No 1', Ranveer Singh's '83' and many other big projects were supposed to release during the second half of 2020.
Since the theatres were open in some parts of the country, many thought that these films will be released at least in December. But reliable sources claim that it may not happen. Most of the films were pushed to the summer season of 2021. News is that some filmmakers are even thinking of selling their films to OTT platforms as Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmmi' got a decent response despite the bad reviews.
We need to wait for another couple of weeks to get an idea about these big releases but it looks like Bollywood is facing some pretty challenging times.
