Big Player in Overseas Market Grabs KGF 2 Rights

Released in multiple languages, the Yash-starrer K.G.F became the second Pan-India release after the magnum opus Bahubali. The way the hero character was designed and the elevation scenes made audiences across the regions fall in love with the film.
Given the massive success of KGF, fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel to arrive. If not for the Covid pandemic, the sequel would have hit the theatres by now. The sequel had locked April 14th as the release date and the Pan-India film will have a box office fight with Vijay's Beast.
The buzz and craze for KGF overseas are phenomenal. The makers have entered a deal for the overseas release. Sarigama, a big player in the overseas distribution had bagged the rights of KGF2.
Though the amount is not revealed the overseas distribution company Sarigama grabbed the opportunity of overseas rights by paying a big amount. KGF 2 marks the second big film bagged by Sarigama.
Sarigama has recently bought the overseas rights of the much-awaited Pan-India film RRR. As one of the biggest releases for Indian cinema, RRR will have a release in as many as 1150 screens across the United States. RRR will hit the theatres on the 25th of this month.
RRR tells the functional stories of two noted revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Megapower star Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR respectively. Alia Bhatt will star opposite Ram Charan and a Hollywood actress was roped in for NTR.
KGF Chapter 2 is carrying high-level expectations and the teaser and trailer released by the makers only took the expectations further up. Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt is the new addition to the film. He is playing the fierce Adheera in KGF 2. Raveena Tandon is playing the Prime Minister and her character name is Ramika Sen.
KGF took the Kannada Film Industry, which is also known as Sandalwood to the next level. Be it in terms of budget, collections, and craze, KGF had set the bar quite high. Now the fans are waiting to see how the sequel will take the bar high.
