There have been rumors that Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata might get postponed from the 12th May slot due to logistical reasons. The makers haven't commented about the same till now but this is a hot topic on social media now.
If we take a look, there is one big obstacle for Sarkaru Vaari Paata and that is the Hollywood biggie - Doctor Strange.
Apparently, SVP's USA distributor is worried about the clash with Doctor Strange and that is the reason why he is said to have recommended the makers to go for an alternative date. Doctor Strange arrives in theatres on 5th May and Sarkaru Vaari Paata is scheduled for 12 May.
If things don't go as planned, Sarkaru Vaari Paata might not get enough screens in the USA, courtesy of Doctor Strange. This is the biggest concern for the film now.
But the makers haven't commented about the release date till now and that might be an indication that the film is indeed on course for release on the 12th of May.
Mahesh Babu had already completed his portion of the film's shoot and whatever filming part is left will be done very soon. So, barring the release clash aspect, there is no valid reason for the postponement of the film.
