Bimbisara teaser became a viral hit. The visuals and period setting helped Kalyanram to turn heads towards him after a long long time.
The actor transformed his looks to fit the character and spent crores of rupees to realise the vision of director, Vashisht. Result seems to be favourable to the actor.
The teaser managed to become talk of the town and when people look at new releases, Bimbisara seems to have more attention than other films from second Tier heroes of Telugu Cinema.
Nandamuri Kalyanram has been trying to attain star status at the box office but success rate of his films has been so low that even with a solid fan base like Nandamuri fans, he is unable to get the star status.
