BJP leaders from a dominant social group back-stabbing Somu Veerraju?

Is there a conspiracy by the BJP leaders, who belong to a powerful political community, to oust Somu Veerraju from the AP BJP state chief's post? At least this is what many people strongly believe in the BJP. Some leaders from that community are believed to be joining hands with pro-TDP media. A major section says that these media organisations are spreading stories that Somu Veerraju would be removed from his post sooner or later.

A few days ago, Somu Veerraju has announced that the party in AP would boycott a particular media house, where a key BJP leader was assaulted during the show. The BjP leaders across the state are not inviting scribes from this media house. However, four of five leaders in the BJP, who belong to the powerful social group are not only defying the orders of the state president, but are also tipping off the media house about the goings on in the party. These three or four leaders are the only ones whose news is being covered in the said media house.

One such leader has written an edit page article in the said daily, but he did not mention the position that the party gave him. He just mentioned his name and not the party's position. Two other leaders too are said to be participating in the debates via phone-ins. Interestingly, they are not directly joining the debates in the studios, but are giving phone ins. This is a direct defiance of the party's state leadership.

One does not know why the BjP in AP is staying silent on this defiance. No notice has been issued to them so far. Some party leaders have reportedly taken the issue to the notice of the national leadership. Even the national leadership is said to be staying silent for now as there are more pressing issues before them
