Icon Star Allu Arjun's much-awaited film 'Pushpa' has completed its first-week run. Despite the mixed response initially, the film is having a wonderful box-office run with staggering collections. It collected a gross of 71 crores on the very first day and there was no stopping from then. It set the cash registers ringing and the collections were steady on working days too. The film minted a gross of 229 crores in the first week and the producers themselves announced it officially.

The team released a special poster announcing the collections and claimed that it is "2021 India's Biggest Grosser". Allu Arjun is seen raising his hand and he has a royal look in this poster. The film successfully entered the second week and the entire team is happy with its success. They have already arranged success meets in various cities including Tirupati, Kakinada and other parts. The film is surprising everyone with its collections in the Hindi market too. Even with less promotions, the Hindi version managed to get over 30 crores which explains Allu Arjun's craze.

Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil will be seen in a negative role. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project which will be released in multiple languages. Sunil, Anasuya and others play key roles. Samantha did a special item song titled 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' which became an instant chartbuster. 'Pushpa – The Rise' is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling and it is released on a pan-Indian scale. It was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Devi Sri Prasad's songs turned into chartbusters even before the release but his background score drew some criticism. Sukumar proved his directorial capabilities once again with this film though there were complaints about its lengthy runtime. The team set the platform for 'Pushpa – The Rule' and it is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2022. Since there is a lot of time, it is to be seen if the team of 'Pushpa' rectifies the mistakes they made in the first part and comes up with a perfect film or not.

With Nani's 'Shyam Singha Roy' releasing this weekend in South India along with Ranveer Singh's '83' in North, we need to see far 'Pushpa' goes.
