Bold Initiative by Mallesham Director

Priyadarshi starrer Mallesham is creating a lot of interesting buzz in the filmnagar. The film is a biopic on the life of Chintakindhi Mallesham, who invented the Asu machine to ease the work of the weavers. Raj R is the newcomer who made his directorial debut with the movie. Apart from the making of the movie, the director Raj is being appreciated for something else.
The Director-producer Raj of Mallesham has set a precedent to ensure a safe workplace for women in cinema. He drew up contracts for the team, stating that anyone guilty of sexual misconduct will have to quit the project and compensate for losses incurred.
He is the first one in the team to sign this contract which resulted in all the others working in the team to do the same. Thus, he stood as an inspiration to everyone working towards creating a safer environment for women.
It is a gutsy attempt indeed and let us all hope that many other filmmakers give their support to this initiative and take it forward.
