The latest news since a week from Tollywood film circles is all about the biopic of ace Weight Lifter from Andhra Pradesh Karanam Malleswari. It is evident that the Biopic trend has surged up down South post the blockbuster success of great actress Savitri's Biopic 'Mahanati'.
Earlier there were speculations around few Sports persons biopic but nothing surfaced again. Now news sources have revealed that Rakul Preet Singh is going to act in this biopic and it's going to be a pan India film with a big scale production but nothing materialized. Earlier they have contacted Nithya Menon as the first choice but she has denied to do the film.
Now news sources reveal that makers have contacted Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar to reprise the role of Karanam Malleswari. It remains to be seen if the actress does the role that has huge mutual benefits for the makers and Bhumi.
It is the makers in MVV Cinema and KFC banners who try things differently to give the present day image for their banner. Bhumi if puts on weight she may perfectly suit the role as he has the same fitness levels of an athlete.
