Bollywood Hero Says Hindi is the National Language!
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 April 2022 11:45 AM GMTSince our childhood, we have been told that Hindi is our national language. For generations, the same concept was inculcated in our brains. But the narrative is now being questioned as to the leaders from the South question the same. Not just the leaders, even the film stars are also joining the force.
With the Pan-India films coming from the South doing wonders at the box office, a new opinion had started that the regional cinema had started to take on the Hindi cinema and Bollywood is no longer the biggest industry. The south vs north debate had also started.
Amid this, Kiccha Sudeep had made a big claim that Hindi is not a national language anymore. His statements had created a big political storm. While the activists in the south and supporting him, his views are being questioned in the north.
As a big reaction to Sudeep's claims, actor-director Ajay Devgn had come up with his version saying that Hindi is and will be the national language of the country. He even asked why people are releasing the films made in their mother tongue in Hindi. He made this tweet in Hindi.
@KicchaSudeep my brother, according to you if Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your mother tongue movies by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was, is and always will be our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gan Manâ Ajay Devgnâs tweet loosely translates.
