South Indian films are the focal point in Indian cinema now. The blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise in the Hindi circuit proves the same. The film collected over Rs 100 crores nett despite the weak reviews and it shows that the Hindi audience are embracing South Indian films.
Now, Bollywood is remaking as many as 25 films that are in various stages of production. Several of these films feature Bollywood top stars in important roles.
The Telugu films that are being remade in Hindi are Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Hit, Jersey, Naandhi, and Chatrapathi.
The Tamil films that are being remade in Hindi are Vikram Vedha, Dhruvangal Pathinaru, Ratsasan, Thadam, Comali, Maanagaram, Aruvi, Maanaadu, Soorarai Pottru, Kaithi, Jigarthanda, Anniyan, and Master.
Driving License, Drishyam 2, Helen, Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Nayattu are the Hindi films that are being remade in Hindi.
