Bollywoods Shortage Of Heroine Benefitting South Beauties!
X
Hindi film industry has never been short of heroines since its inception. There were a lot of timeless beauties who ruled the silver screen not just with their glamour but also their acting prowess. Starting from Nargis to Deepika Padukone, a lot of actresses graced the Hindi cinema. Star heroes never used to find it difficult to get heroines as there were a lot of beauties including stars and upcoming talents.

But times have changed and Hindi stars are unable to find good heroines for their films. Star heroines like Kareena, Deepika, Anushka and others got married and are preferring content-oriented films lately. Many young heroines like Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Tara Sutaria and others entered the industry but they are too young for heroes like Ranbir and Ranveer who are nearing their forties and stars like Hrithik, Salman, Akshay, Ajay, Aamir, SRK and others who are well past their fifties.

There are only a few like Shraddha Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt and others who are currently busy with multiple projects in their hands. This sudden shortage of heroines has benefitted South Indian heroines. They are getting offers alongside Bollywood stars. Rashmika Mandanna is working on two Hindi projects while Rakul is working alongside Ajay Devgn on 'May Day'. Regina is also getting a few chances but it is Pooja Hegde who is making the most of it as she has been cast as the lead actress in Salman's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' as well as Ranveer's upcoming 'Cirkus'.
