Bollywood Star Actor's Father Dies Of Kidney Disease

Popular actor and former Rajya Sabha member Mithun Chakraborty's father Basantakumar Chakraborty (95) has passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. For the past few days he was suffering from ill-health.
Meanwhile, Mithun Chakraborty is trapped in Bangalore after the nationwide lockdown. He went to Bangalore for a film shooting recently. With the announcement of lockdown, he remained there with no other option.
Now Mithun is finding every possibility and making efforts to reach Mumbai to see his father for one last time.
Basantakumar's second son, Namashi Chakraborty, said that his father died of a kidney disease.
Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta took to Twitter to convey the condolences to the family. She wrote, My deep condolences on the sudden demise of your father, Mithun Da. Stay strong & may his soul rest in peace forever."
Recently Bollywood star Salman Khan's nephew, Abdullah Khan died of illness and Salman was unable to see the last sight due to lockdown.
