Boyapati Sreenu Loads Balayya's 'Akhanda' With Heavy Duty Fights

Boyapati Sreenu and Nandamuri Balakrishna had previously collaborated for Legend, and Simha. Both these films were massive blockbusters at the box office. Both Simha and Legend are action-oriented celluloid with all the necessary commercial ingredients like family emotions, comedy, and romance. Now, Boyapati Sreenu is said to have taken the action route for Balayya's Akhanda. He has apparently loaded the film with heavy duty action sequences. The film be more of a feast for action lovers.
Apparently, there will be a total of 8 heavy duty action blocks in Akhanda, which is a considerably high number for a commercial potboiler. All these action blocks were shot on a massive scale and Balakrishna's screen presence and demeanour in the same will fuel the narrative. At this rate, there will be a high octane action block for every 15-minute stretch in the film. Boyapati is a master of blending action with drama and if he manages to get the mix right, the film can pull the masses to the theatres in big numbers. It has been quite a while since the Telugu audience were served a proper commercial mass entertainer and that would provide Akhanda with the opportunity to make the most out of the void.
Akhanda will have Boyapati's trademark fight sequences and they will most be fueled by drama. Especially, the fights featuring Balakrishna in Aghora avatar will stand as the main highlight. Balakrishna's massy looks, paired with the action-packed content should offer his fans and cinemagoers in general, a mass feast.
It is heard that Akhanda might be out in theatres this Dasara season. The makers are contemplating October 13th as the release date for the film. Given the holiday release advantage, Akhanda will have a headstart at the box office but the full-run collections will ultimately depend on the content. The makers are now waiting for the government of Andhra Pradesh to permit flexible ticket pricing in the state. If the government permits flexible ticket prinicng system, then we cane expect an affirmative announcement regarding the release date from the makers of Akhanda.
