Is Brahmanandam Looking To Retire?
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 July 2018 3:07 PM GMTBrahmanandam started off his career in 1980's with his roles in Jandhyala Garu's films, Megastar Chiranjeevi's films before 1990's made him a star.
With each and every film of his in 90's, he became such a superstar comedian that any film without him is not even considered by distributors and buyers.
During Sunil's dominance he had to do small roles as MS Narayana and Dharamavarapu Subrahmanyam also took over. Once again from Dhee and Ready, he became the star comedian.
This time, he got credit for making the movies super hits with his comedy tracks. His entries in a movie became the next important entry episodes after stars and heroes.
After Aagadu, that huge fame of Brahmanandam started fading out with the emergence of new actors and him getting completely caricatured.
Several young directors are also unable to figure out how to use him with new breed of actors and youthful films.
Seems like Brahmanandam after a break understood this better with his new movie roles. Even though he is available and open, his age is also not permitting him to be so active.
So, the actor has decided to promote his successors and retire slowly. If he finds a blockbuster in which his character once again shines, he might think about seriously continuing to do roles otherwise, he is highly content with what all he achieved ober the years, it seems.
