On Saturday, NTR Trust & Facebook has jointly organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at NTR Bhavan to support Thalassemic Children. Upasana attended it as a Chief Guest and inaugurated the Blood Camp.
Nara Brahmani is the first person to donate blood. Even her Father & Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna came forward to do his bit to the good cause. They both stressed the need to create awareness among people about blood donation to meet the requirement of 5 lakh units.
Upasana Konidala came up with an idea which could motivate each individual save 500 lives. 'Brahmani & I spent a heart-warming afternoon donating blood. If you start donating blood after every 90 days from the age of 18, You could save 500 lives by the time you reach 60. It's very powerful & satisfying thing to do,' she announced.
Brahmani claimed to be very happy about the Best Actor award won by her Father. She, however, refused to respond on the controversies surrounding the Nandi Awards.
