Mahesh Babu's Fan Base grew multifold particularly in East Godavari district in the past few years. Even his utter-flop films have collected impressive shares in this territory. Now, 'Brahmotsavam' set a new District record among Mahesh's Films.
'Brahmotsavam' First Day Share is Rs 1.60 crore which include Fixed Hires. None of his previous films including 'Srimanthudu' earned so much on First Day. While 'Srimanthudu' collected Rs 1.52 crore, Aagadu and One received shares of Rs 1.13 crore and Rs 1.08 crore respectively.
Inspite of being a Family Drama, 'Brahmotsavam' managed to collect Mahesh's career-best share. That's purely because of the stamina of Superstar!
Who knows, Mahesh Babu could increase his calibre to Rs 2 crore with his next flick directed by AR Murugadoss.
