Maruthi used to encourage Aspiring/Young Filmmakers for a period of time. Those films had only given negative results & prompted him to take a break. After a long gap, He is back with 'Brand Babu' which is the love story of a rich lad and poor maid working in his home. The tagline, 'His MAIDen Love Story!' sums up the plot of this entertainer.
For 'Brand Babu', Maruthi hasn't only provided story but also presents it. Prabhakar wields the megaphone. Debutante Sumanth Shailendra and Eesha Rebba play main leads. Murali Sharma essays crucial role.
