Is Brand Maruthi Fading Out?

Maruthi Dasari as a filmmaker might survive for years but his vision to grow as a brand might have taken a deep hit.

There are two types of filmmakers in our Film Industry. Makers who keep making successful films and grow as a brand and makers who grow as a brand that will help them survive even in tough times.

We can K. Raghavendra Rao became a brand because of his successful films while Dasari Narayana Rao became a brand that helped him even make movies and maintain his name during tough times.

Maruthi seems to chosen later's path but his films other than that he directs have lost their sheen and credibility as entertainers.

Brand Babu has cemented that belief. Maruthi couldn't come up with an original script from his novel idea and Prabhakar failed to make it into a good movie.

Now, after Rojulu Marayi, this another disaster has hit Brand Maruthi hard and we have to wait and see, if Bhale Manchi Chauka Beramu, his another film directed by Murali Krishna can save the name.

It just seems like over dependency on one person's name and fame! Maruthi must concentrate on this issue as it could even hurt his own directorials.
