No matter how many critics express their opinion in the most articulate way, the main judge of the movie is the viewer who walks into the theatres. Looks like young and budding hero Kiran Abbavaram proved it again. The hero recently came up with his entertaining drama named 'SR Kalyanamandapam'. This film was widely panned by the critics but the audience seems to be loving it.
They have given the film 4.5 crores in the first seven days of its release. These are very good numbers of a young hero's film. This once again proves that the audience will carry the film irrespective of the critics. They walked into the theatres and gave a grand reception to this film. They made it clear that no virus can stop them from watching the film on big screens.
Sources claim that the producer of 'SR Kalyanamandapam' got over 7 crores with both theatrical and non-theatrical rights combined. Seems like the audience liked the film despite its flat narration in the second half and other minus points. Many say that songs are the biggest attraction of this movie as 'Choosale Kallara' and 'Chukkala Chunni' were massive hits prior to the release. Priyanka Jawalkar is the heroine in this movie while Sai Kumar was seen as the hero's father. Story, screenplay and dialogues were given by Kiran Abbavaram himself while Sridhar Gadhe edited and directed this movie. Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music composer.
