Bunnys Flop Film Performs Well In North Indian Theatres!

Stylish star Allu Arjun's 'Naa Peru Surya - Naa Illu India' which released in 2018 was a big failure. It is considered as the biggest flop for Bunny since 'Varudu' which released back in 2010. He took a gap of nearly two years before coming up with 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. But the Hindi-dubbed version of this film is performing exceedingly well in the North market.

One may think that it is quite common for the North Indians to watch our action films on Youtube in large numbers, Allu Arjun's film has been released in theatres and it managed to get decent collections. Dubbed as 'Surya-The Soldier', the film had a limited release in single screens with only 50 percent occupancy. Though the theatres opened recently in North India, none of the Bollywood films were released and the theatre owners turned to dubbing films for business.

With the decent collections 'Surya-The Soldier' got, distributors are reportedly planning to increase the film's screen count in more towns and cities. Trade experts say that the film is getting impressive collections especially in hardcore North Indian states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This is definitely an encouraging sign to Bunny as he is planning to have his first pan-Indian release with 'Pushpa' next year.
