Bunny Vas Counter To 2.0 Producers

'2.0' is the most eagerly awaited movie of the entire nation now. There is no need to talk about the expectations of the audience on the film. Majority of the audience feel that this movie is going to match 'Baahubali' in many aspects. Considering the scale and reach of the film, other language makers across India have to reschedule their films based on the release date of '2.0'. But '2.0' makers are not continuously changing their release date causing inconvenience to others.
They have initially announced that they will release the film on Diwali this year. They have changed the date to January 25,2018 later. There was a buzz that the movie has been postponed to April 13 later. Latest update from the Lyca Productions didn't specify the exact date but they are saying the movie will be released in April.
Even though '2.0' is a big ticket film, release date changes are affecting the other producers. Tollywood producers are openly expressing their displeasure over the date change. 'Naa Peru Surya' executive producer Bunny Vas also expressed his displeasure through his Facebook.
He wrote that "Lyca Productions(2.0).. We respect your movie but you are changing the release dates affecting the regional movie release dates a lot. Me(Naa Peru Surya) and Danayya garu(Bharath Anu Nenu) are in talks for an understanding. I will take this issue to the producer council and exhibitor associations in AP& Telangana. We stand for our date commitment. May this be helpful to regional movie releases in future also."
Telugu filmmakers recently came to an agreement that whenever Telugu biggies are releasing, dubbing films should not be allowed to release. So Bunny Vas is not in favour of April 27 release of '2.0'. If the '2.0' makers don't get enough number of theaters for their film, they may have to change the release date. Let us see what happens.
