Buzz Going Down On Megastar's 'Acharya'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Sep 2021 2:26 PM GMTAt the beginning, 'Acharya' was considered as one of the biggest projects in Tollywood. Koratala Siva was riding high on the success of 'Bharat Ane Nenu' and Megastar was enjoying the success of 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'. Koratala is known for making commercial films with a strong social message to the audience which is suitable for the stature of Megastar. This combination has created a lot of hype on 'Acharya' and top artists and technicians were brought onboard.
Kajal was selected as the heroine and star hero Ram Charan was roped in to play an important role. Fans were pumped about seeing the father-son duo on the big screen. The film was made on a very high budget and it all looked upscale for the film until lockdown came. The shooting was postponed several times and slowly the buzz started to die down. The teaser was released one year back and the first song got a good response but it was also released a long time ago. Despite releasing some posters every now and then, the makers are unable to maintain the hype on it.
The shooting of 'Acharya' has been completed and Megastar has already moved onto other projects. Koratala Siva is also focusing on the script work of his pan-Indian film with NTR as per sources. Also, there were no updates about the film on Chiru's birthday which made the fans feel a bit disappointed. The release date hasn't been announced yet and people are slowly losing interest in it as per the inside reports. Experts are claiming that 'Acharya' which started as one of the biggest films in Tollywood is gradually losing its steam. Fans are hoping that the film's team responds to this as quickly as possible. All it needs is a strong trailer and some good songs by the team to create the euphoria once again. Let us see if it happens or not.
Chiranjeevi is currently working on 'Godfather' which is a remake of Malayalam super hit 'Lucifer'. Mohan Raja is the film's director while fans are hyped about this project. He announced 'Bhola Shankar' under Meher Ramesh's direction which will have Keerthy Suresh playing the role of Megastar's sister.
