It's Like Slitting Throat After Serving Food

We all know that piracy is one of the major issues causing crores of losses to the filmmakers across the nation irrespective of the language. As the success percentage is very less in the film industry, very few films will become successful. Sadly, when those films are affected by the piracy the makers are suffering huge losses.
The recent release 'Jawaan' starring Sai Dharam Tej also suffering due to the piracy. Within a few hours of the release, 'Jawaan' piracy prints were circulating on the internet. Speaking on the issue, 'Jawaan' director BVS Ravi lashed out at the people who are involved in piracy. He told that he is pained with the piracy as the collections are getting affected due to the piracy.
He said that "The movie is shown on the buses also. We are unable to enjoy the success of the film due to piracy. The entire team has worked so hard and we have put our blood and sweat into the making of the film to make it a success. It is like slitting the throat after serving food."
He continued "It's like exam paper leaked out and the boy who didn't study well got the first rank. Distributors risk everything to invest in the film. Everybody from light boy to the people running the cycle stands will be working hard for the cinema. But we are worried which producer's turn is this Friday to go bankrupt. Even though we are taking many precautions, we are unable to control piracy. If the same situation continues, people like us will disappear from the industry."
He requested the concerned departments to look after the issue to control piracy and book the culprits.
