Interrogation of Puri Jagannath began at 10.30 AM in the 5th Floor of Excise Office at Nampally. Nobody except Puri & four Investigation Officers were allowed into this room. Even SIT Team haven't kept their mobiles with them. A 3-tier security has been arranged outside Excise Office to prevent any sort of disturbance
Puri Jagannath was grilled for over 9 hours from all angles. Have a look at some of the questions -
i) How did you come in touch with drug peddlers?, ii) Contacts with Calvin & other Gangs?, iii) Information about drug addicts in the industry.
In the post lunch session, SIT showed the proofs they have collected and asked questions regarding them. Calvin's Call Data & Messages sent by him were shown to the Filmmaker. Even photos of Calvin & Jisaan attending 'Jyothi Lakshmi' audio launch were placed before Puri. A person has been taken into custody based on the information shared by Puri.
Excise Enforcement Director Akun Sabharwal is monitoring the interrogation. Whereas, Excise Commissioner Chandravadan left the Head Office after 5 PM. He told details of the investigation can't be revealed as of now.
Osmania Hospital Doctors reached Excise Office with necessary kits to collect blood samples. Even Narcotics Drug Control Bureau Officials have been grilling Puri.
