Can Anchor Suma Be Succesful In Second Innings?

Anchor Suma started her career as an actress in Telugu TV serials and then did a Movie in the direction of Dasari Narayana Rao, Kalyana Praptirasthu with now writer-director, Vakkantham Vamsi.
Later, she married Rajeev Kanakala who was then upcoming famous actor on TV and then transformed into an anchor. With the help of her in-laws Devadasu Kanakala and Lakshmi Kanakala who were well known in training actors, she learnt Telugu and conducted herself very well in front of cameras, on stage to earn the reputation as The Best Anchor ever from Telugu states.
Even though she hails from Kerala and her mother tongue is Malayalam, she learnt Telugu so well that she has become synonymous for proper Telugu speaking woman anchor on TV, these days.
She interviewed youngsters, Instagram celebrities, TikTok video makers, Vloggers, Bloggers, Superstars and she had done every kind of show, you can ever imagine.
She even did review shows on News TV channels with her own sarcastic sense of Humour added to the script. Now, she has decided to start second innings as an actress.
It feels like that too. She has a film coming up titled, Jayamma Panchayati. Jayamma, a daring lady brings forward an important issue to village panchayat and that is the film all about.
Vijay Kumar is directing the movie and Balaga Prakash produced it. This film might not be a one-off trial to see how it works. Pradeep Machiraju, Sreemukhi, Anchor Ravi, Sudigali Sudheer, Rashmi, Anasuya all tried their hands in movies and became popular on TV and again tried their hands in films in lead roles recently.
Except for Anasuya all others are finding it slightly difficult to translate their success on TV screen to large screen with same impact. Let's see what Superstar Anchor Suma has to offer in her new avatar.
