Can Bunny Become Successful There?
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Nov 2019 7:27 AM GMTStylish Star Allu Arjun enjoys huge craze all across South India. His films are well received in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and especially Kerala. Also, he is a known name in North India as most of his Hindi dubbed films garner millions of views. If there is one area where Bunny didn't get a hold on, it is the overseas market.
Barring 'Race Gurram', 'S/o Satyamurthy' and 'Julayi' which were released long back and did not collect more than one and a half million, none of his films did well in the US market. His biggest hit 'Sarrainodu' was a failure there. While 'DJ' was average, his last outing, 'Naa Peru Surya' was a huge disaster both here and there. Allu Arjun needs a strong hit at the overseas arena to prove his calibre. So, he teamed up with Trivikram for 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' and we all know how good Trivikram's films perform at the US market. His biggest flop, 'Agnyathavaasi' minted over 2 million there and a violent action flick like 'Aravinda Sametha' fetched more than 1.5 million.
To his Bunny's bad luck, the overseas market for Telugu films fell down drastically and none of the recent biggies was able to enter the profit zone. Also, he has to compete with Mahesh Babu this time who is considered as the emperor of the overseas market. We need to wait and see whether Allu Arjun becomes successful or not this time.
