If everything went as planned, Naga Chaitanya's 'Love Story' directed by Sekhar Kammula would have been released during this month. But the lockdown period stopped the film's shooting and no one knows when the shootings and theatres restart again.
But sources claim that Sekhar Kammula is aiming for a festive release for this film. 'Love Story' is expected to hit the screens during the Ganesh Chaturthi season. News is that only 15 days of shooting is left and it will be wrapped up as soon as the lockdown is lifted.
In the meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is facing a tough time with the business of this film. Chaitanya's last two films 'Majili' and 'Venky Mama' collected around 40 crores each which are surely good for his market. 'Love Story' gives him a great opportunity to expand his market. This is Kammula's next film after 'Fidaa' and crazy heroine Sai Pallavi is the heroine in it.
Despite his previous two films doing well, buyers are reportedly pointing Samantha and Venkatesh as the main reasons for it and they are trying to get the rights of 'Love Story' for low rates as per sources. It will be a good chance for Chaitanya to score a hattrick and establish a stronger base.
