Right from the end of February, Tollywood is witnessing one biggie after another. Pawan Kalyan arrived with his 'Bheemla Nayak' on February 25th and Prabhas treated the audience with a pan-Indian film like 'Radhe Shyam' on March 11th. The biggest of lot came on 25th March and this film from SS Rajamouli is still holding strong at the box office. After this, 'KGF - 2' will be coming on April 14th and 'Beast' will be arriving a day before that.

On 29th April, we will get to see Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya'. As we know, every film mentioned above except 'Bheemla Nayak' are pan-Indian films that will be released in many languages. These big films will occupy most of the theatres in May too. With the collections 'RRR' is going at, we may see it in theatres during the month of May. If 'KGF 2' and 'Beast' become successful, they will be running in theatres in May. The same goes for 'Acharya' which is one of the most awaited films in Tollywood.

News is that the fortunes are not looking great of superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'. It is a straight Telugu film and reports suggest that Dil Raju who bought the Nizam rights will be able to release it only 260-280 theatres in the Nizam area. This is mainly due to the craze of the other films. Mahesh's film is also a huge film but fans are getting disappointed over these latest reports. We need to wait and see what happens on 12th May.

'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is directed by Parasuram who made hits like 'Solo' and 'Geetha Govindham' in the past. This film is produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainments banners. Madhie who worked on movies like 'Srimanthudu', 'Mirchi' and 'Saaho' is the cinematographer while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. Thaman composed the music and the first two songs 'Kalaavathi' and 'Penny' got a huge response. Star heroine Keerthy Suresh will be seen romancing Mahesh in this project.

After 'SVP', Mahesh will be teaming up with his 'Athadu' and 'Khaleja' director Trivikram Srinivas after this project. Haarika & Hassine Creations will be bankrolling this movie while Pooja Hegde is the heroine. Thaman will be composing the music once again.
