Can 'MEB' Provide The Required Entertainment For Audience!

On the quest of scoring his first hit, young and handsome hero Akhil Akkineni is arriving with his 'Most Eligible Bachelor'. If this went as planned, this romantic comedy was supposed to hit the screens last year but the film got postponed due to the lockdowns and it got a new release date now. The team revealed that the film is marching towards 15th October to hit the screens.
The songs which came out till date turned out to be good hits and the teaser too garnered a positive buzz. There is a lot of buzz surrounding this film as it is produced by 'GA2 Pictures' and directed by 'Bommarillu' Baskar. Along with beautiful romance and family emotions, 'Bommarillu' Baskar's films have good dose of entertainment. Post the second wave, Tollywood hasn't delivered a complete entertainer. Barring small films like 'Raja Raja Chora' and 'SR Kalyanamandapam', all the well known films like 'Love Story', 'Seetimaar' and others didn't have required entertainment to please the audience.
With 'Most Eligible Bachelor' arriving on 15th October, people are expecting that there will be a good dose of comedy in this film. The teaser showed a lot of promise and heroine Pooja Hegde will be seen as a standup comedian in this film. Speaking about it, Akhil said, "During the standup comedy scenes, I could see fire and enthusiasm in Pooja's eyes. She was very passionate about the role. She channelizes her energy and uses it optimally. In her free time, Pooja goes around the sets and observes what's happening on the sets."
With comedy stars like Vennela Kishore and others playing key roles in this film, fans are expecting a lot from this film. Gopi Sundar gave super hit songs for this film and there is a decent hype on the movie. This is Baskar's first outing since 'Ongole Gitta' which came in 2013. He is aiming to score a good hit and so is Akhil whose first three films were big failures. Let us see if they achieve their target on 15th October or not. Bunny Vas is the producer while Vasu Varma wrote this film.
