Can Mythri Withstand Dil Raju's Domination In Nizam?
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Nov 2022 7:20 AM GMTTollywood star producer Dil Raju is also the leading exhibitor in the Nizam area. Many call him as the undisputed kind in this region as he owns a majority of the theatres. Other distributors are not able to stand in front of his supremacy and a lot of them complain about it in front of the press too. Now, Mythri Movie Makers are stepping into the Nizam area.
We all know that the renowned production house is one of the leading banners in Tollywood at the moment. Sources say that they are planning to enter distribution in the Nizam area by teaming up with another exhibitor. Information says that they are going to open a new office on 2nd December.
There are rumours that the Mythri Movie Makers banner is entering the distribution business in order to put a check to Dil Raju. As a part of this, they are planning to release Megastar's 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy' by themselves in the Nizam area.
As we are aware, both these big budget movies made by Mythri Movie Makers are getting released during the Sankranti season. With Chiru and Balayya arriving at the same time, there is a lot of curiosity and excitement around it.
Dubbing movie 'Varasudu' starring Vijay and Rashmika is releasing during the same time. This movie is produced by Dil Raju and he will be releasing it in the Nizam area. Insiders say that a majority of theatres in Nizam region are being allotted to dubbing film 'Varasudu'. On top of that, Dil Raju is reportedly planning to distribute 'Thunivu' starring Ajith in the lead too.
When two big films are getting released, Dil Raju is reportedly trying to block theatres for his two dubbing films and a section of people are already firing on Dil Raju. Mythri Movie Makers deciding to release two big movies of Chiru and Balayya by themselves and ignoring Dil Raju has not gone well with the 'SVSC' producer and that is the reason why he is releasing two dubbing films in Telugu and trying to get more theatres.
Mythri team who are opening an office in Nizam area are reportedly getting in contact with other distributors and exhibitors. Apart form Dil Raju, Asian Cinemas team also owns a good chunk of theatres but they will allot theatres to Chiru and Balayya film only if 'Agent' doesn't get released during the Sankranti season.
On the whole, two big movies from Mythri Movie Makers have not fallen into the hands to Dil Raju and we need to see if they pose a competition to the star producer in the coming days too or not.
