Can Oh Baby Do A Kabir Singh?

Bollywood actors got the successful formula figured out these days. They have to just remake South Indian films.
Shahid Kapoor got an unbelievable hit with Kabir Singh and before him, Salman Khan could revive his career with Wanted, Ready.
Akshay Kumar's biggest hits were South remakes and he did revive his career as comic actor way back in 2001 with Hera Pheri. He then did Bhool Bhulaiyya, Garam Masala, Holiday, Houseful films, Welcome, Gabbar is Back, Rowdy Rathore which are all remakes.
So, any hit film from South Indian languages is getting great attention and even Rohit Shetty is choosing South films to remake most of the time.
After Jersey, Oh Baby joined the list of remakes. Jersey has Dil Raju and Sithara Entertainments looking to enter into Bollywood with a big production house.
Oh Baby will have Suresh Productions, who have rights for all Indian languages from Korean filmmakers, joining another big production house mostly, to produce the film in Hindi.
Karan Johar could entertain the idea as he has rooster of young actresses like Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, Jhanvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey under him and he is constantly looking for others too.
May be this film with Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone could be a better idea and a safe one market wise. If they agree, as Rana is keen to produce, it could start next year!
