Prior to the release of 'KGF Chapter 1', no one knew who Prasanth Neel was. He is a director who made one film prior to 'KGF' which is 'Ugram'. The film was not a huge commercial success too. But he proved his brilliance with 'KGF Chapter 1' as he took the entire nation by surprise.
His taking and elevation scenes swept the audience off their feet. The craze went over the roof for the second chapter which took four years to hit the screens. Many claimed that it was the surprise factor that worked for 'KGF' and the second part may not reach the expectations. But Prasanth managed to surpass all the expectations and scored a massive blockbuster.
It may not reach 'RRR' overall collections but the film crossed the Hindi collections and is on its way to getting 300 crores. People are lauding Prasanth Neel for his work and claiming that he is one of the biggest directors down South. He deserves all the praise for 'KGF' and fans of Prabhas have pinned a lot of hopes on him.
Prabhas is in need of a good hit right now as his last two films 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam' tanked badly at the box office. His next film is with Prasanth Neel and it is titled 'Salaar'. The film is having humongous expectations on it and we need to see if Prasanth repeats his magic once again or not.
Hombale Films which made the 'KGF' franchise is bankrolling Prabhas' 'Salaar'. Shruti Hassan is the heroine while Jagapathi Babu is playing a key role. Ravi Basrur is giving the music once again.
