Can Rajni Reverse Those Expectations?

Rajnikanth, Superstar of Tamil Cinema and first South Indian star to attract Overseas audiences, is facing a down time like never before in Telugu.
Ever since Baasha, his films have been consistent performers in Telugu markets as well, until Kabali and Kaala, changed that.
Petta couldn't help him recover from the two big blows and he is coming with AR Murugadoss's new film, Darbar for Pongal/Sankranthi.
While Tamil market is expecting a vintage Rajni hit with the film, Telugu trade is not excited about the film. Trade pundits are predicting that the movie will be a flop and stating that the teaser is an indication for that.
But Rajni, Nayantara and ARM combination might just pull a surprise as no one is having expectations from them, say few old timers.
We have to wait and see, if Rajni can reverse the naysayers opinions and deliver a Thalaivar range hit, once again?!
