Can 'Stand Up Rahul' Give A Big Break For Raj Tarun?
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Feb 2022 11:43 AM GMTRaj Tarun is all set to entertain the audience with an urban comedy titled 'Stand Up Rahul'. Starting from the posters to the few songs which came out a few months back, everything managed to impress the audience big time. Directed by debutant Santo Mohan Veeranki, Raj Tarun plays the role of a stand-up comedian.
'Middle Class Melodies' fame Varsha Bollamma is the heroine in this urban romantic comedy. This coming-of-age feel-good romantic comedy is being produced by Nandakumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri under 'Dream Town Productions' and 'High Five Pictures' banners.
According to the insiders, the film came out pretty well and people who watched the film have given a very good response.
Raj Tarun is expecting the film to well at the box office as well as bring him critical acclaim. The success of this movie is quite important for the young hero as he pinned high hopes on this project. With good content and positive response from the industry people, 'Stand Up Rahul' is arriving with a decent buzz and we need to see how the film turns out.
Youngster Raj Tarun entered the film industry as an assistant director but fate had other plans for him. He turned into a hero with 'Uyyala Jampala' which was released in 2013.
He followed it up with two back-to-back hits like 'Cinema Choopistha Mawa' and 'Kumari 21F'. With hattrick hits, people thought that Raj Tarun would turn into a crazy hero in the coming days.
But luck did not favor him as all his films failed at the box office since then. Barring 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' which had a decent run, all of his movies like 'Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu', 'Kittu Unnadu Jagratha', 'Andhhagadu', 'Rangula Ratnam', 'Lover', 'Raju Gadu', 'Iddari Lokam Okate' and recently released 'Anubhavinchu Raja' turned out to be duds.
Apart from Raj Tarun and Varsha Bollamma, we have Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Devi Prasad, Indraja, Madhurima Rajkumar Kasireddy, Tejo Bhattaru and others playing key roles.
Ravi Teja Girijala is going to edit this flick while Sreeraj Raveendran cranks the camera. Uday Umagopal is the art director while Eshwar Penti is the choreographer.
Nanda Kishore Emani has penned the dialogues while the additional dialogues were given by Ashwin B, Kss and Shalini. Stand Up comedy is a point that is quite new to the Telugu audience which may be the film's USP.
