Sudhakar Cherukuri is a name that is being heard a lot in the Telugu film industry in the last couple of years. He floated a banner named 'Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas' and produced some quality content till date. After turning into a producer, he made 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' which raised expectations but ended up disappointing the audience. He then bankrolled 'Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu' which was a feel-good family entertainer but did not succeed at the box office.
He took the risk and made a bold movie like 'Virata Parvam' which lacked the regular commercial elements. We all know, how it ended up. Despite setting good combinations and selecting good scripts, he is unable to find a hit. After three successive failures, many producers back out but Sudhakar Cherukuri is coming with another content-oriented action flick like 'Ramarao On Duty' this Friday.
After this film, he is producing 'Dasara' which is also not a conventional movie with a regular story. A lot of filmmakers plan to make commercial movies with Ravi Teja as he has a lot of mass appeal but Sudhakar Cherukuri decided to make a content-driven movie like 'Ramarao On Duty'. The promotions are going on in full swing and the censor board gave a U/A certificate for this film. It is releasing on 29th July and we need to see if Sudhakar Cherukuri gets his first hit this time or not.
