Can This Star Director's Assistant Make An Own Mark?

Young hero Ashish Reddy from Dil Raju's family made his silver screen debut with 'Rowdy Boys' which was released this year's Sankranti season. Due to the third wave, the film did not get the desired commercial success but the actor was appreciated for his efforts. After entering with a youthful entertainer with romance and gang wars, Ashish is all set to begin working on his second movie titled 'Selfish'.
It is a youthful film that is produced jointly by Dil Raju and star director Sukumar under 'SVC' and 'Sukumar Writings' banners. It was Dil Raju who produced Sukumar's first film 'Arya' and they are coming together as producers of 'Selfish'. Interestingly, this film marks the directorial debut of Kasi Vishal who was an associate to the 'Pushpa' director for the last 5 years.
Sukumar has introduced many of his assistants and associates as full-fledged directors through his banner. Also, he is one star director who managed to bring out a bunch of fresh filmmakers.
Buchi Babu Sana was launched as a director with 'Uppena' while Palnati Surya Pratap became a director with 'Current' and made films like 'Kumari 21F' and Nikhil's '18 Pages'. Jakka Hariprasad made his directorial debut through 'Darsakudu' while Vema Reddy became a director with 'Chakkiligintha'. All these filmmakers worked under Sukumar.
Now, another filmmaker who worked under Sukumar's wing is becoming a director. We need to see if Kasi Vishal makes his own mark in the industry and comes out of Sukumar's shadow in the coming days or not.
Previously, Dasari Narayana Rao brought a lot of directors and fresh talent into the industry. Later it was Ram Gopal Varma who gave us many talented filmmakers and actors who are at the top even today.
While the assistants of Trivikram, Rajamouli, Boyapati or Puri are not able to succeed in the industry, Sukumar has managed to bring all this fresh talent into Tollywood.
