'Captain' Trailer Talk: A Hollywood Inspired Supernatural Action Flick!

Tamil star hero Arya is well known to the Telugu audience with movies like 'Nene Ambani', 'Raja Rani', 'Varudu' and many others. Most of his movies get dubbed in Telugu and do well at the box office. He is showing his versatility in script selection with flicks like 'Teddy', 'Sarpatta Parambarai', 'Enemy' and others. He is arriving with another interesting project titled 'Captain' now. The theatrical trailer came out a while ago and it looks great.
Though the plotline seems to be heavily inspired from supernatural Hollywood flicks like 'Predator', 'Monster Hunter', 'Jurassic' franchise and others, the makers must be commended for their effort and vision to bring such genre to Indian cinema once again. Arya will be seen as Captain Vijay Kumar in this film and his team is everything to him. The government sends his team on a secret mission into a sector that is quite dangerous as anyone who went there did not come out alive. The area is filled with supernatural creatures and what does Arya and his team do forms the rest of the story.
The visuals look great and there is going to be a lot of action in the movie as expected. Arya suited the role perfectly and Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the role of his romantic interest. Other important cast members include Simran, Harish Uttaman, Gokul Anand, Kavya Shetty, Bharath Raj, Ambuli Gokul, Suresh Menon and others.
Nithin's production banner Shresth Movies is releasing 'Captain' in Telugu. Shakti Sounder Raja is the writer and director of this film while Imman is the music composer. SS Moorthy is the production designer while S Yuva is the director of photography. Sakthi Saravanan and Ganesh are the fight masters while Pradeep E Ragav is the editor. The movie is releasing worldwide on 8th September.
