Needless to say how big a sensation #MeToo Movement, Sri Reddy Episode and Acting Institute For Nude has created in the recent past. Nadigar Sangam had established a panel to address the sexual harassment against Women. Even Telugu Film Industry has come forward to set up a CASH Committee for the protection of women in all age groups.
Be it any office of the Film Studios, Rules & Regulations of the CASH Committee have been pasted in the notice board. It's like creating awareness about the sexual harassment laws and cautioning how a Male should behave with Females while working for any project. These notices can be seen at the Offices of Annapurna Studios, Ramanaidu Studios and Saradhi Studios.
In the CASH Committee formed by Tollywood, 50 percent of the members are Industry Insiders and 50 percent are outsiders such as legal experts & social activists. If those who aspire for work are harassed, Case will be booked under Sections 294, 354 and 509 of Indian Penal Code. Artistes who faced any kind of harassment at work place could send their complaints to these particular e-mails (complaints@telugufilmchamber.in, complaints @apfilmchamber.com).
