Celebrated Bollywood singer loses his mother to Covid complications

The ongoing Covid has turned tragic for various families, that include normal people, celebrities, film stars, cricketers, politicians. A noted Bollywood singer suffered a personal loss after he lost his mother to Covid.
Bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh lost his mother Aditi Singh, who was 52 years old. She breathed her last due to the after complications of the deadly virus on Thursday.
Going into detail, Aditi Singh had tested positive for Covid in the last week of April. Following this, she was admitted to a hospital on the 6th of May. On Monday, she had tested negative for the virus. Despite beating the virus, she passed away.
She received treatment on ECMO for two weeks. As a result of the treatment, she tested negative for the virus. Suffering a cerebral stroke resulted in Aditi Singh losing her life,
'She passed away last night around 11 pm. Singh, admitted with COVID, was put on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). She tested negative on Monday but succumbed to a cerebral stroke last night,' the hospitals that treated Singh said in a statement.
