Deepika's Waist Get's A VFX Cover!
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Jan 2018 7:36 AM GMTDeepika Padukone is one of the most loved actresses in our country. She maintains a great composure in presenting herself as today's woman and also, woman with values on screen and off, as well.
But the sexists in our country cannot accept a fantasy representation of a woman on screen and hence, as Rani Padmavathi, she had to get a VFX waist cover to please them.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, had to bend his back to get his film, Padmaavat into the theatres and even before he could shoot it completely, he has been tortured by many for even trying to make a movie on Rani Padmavati.
Finally, when he released Jhoomar song from the movie, rather than enjoying the aesthetic beauty, many raised objection about the actress's waist being exposed.
Normally, any woman's waist will be exposed when they wear a saree and in Rajasthani wear, few dresses go backless as well. Still, few educated foolish mob wanted the waist to be covered as they treat Rani Padmavathi as Goddess and their wish had to be granted by the makers.
You see how it happened in the images above. Even if the fantasy of a poet or an artist has to be curtailed like this, what kind of creative freedom are we offering to our future generation?
