Central Government Taking Action To Filter Online Content!

The Central Government of India is set to censor the digital content in order to limit the vulgarity and violence that is shown in movies and web-series that are coming out online these days. Any online channel that is going to start from now on, needs to get permission from the government as Youtube channels and OTT content is also coming under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting as per reports.
The OTT platforms turned into the prime source of entertainment nowadays as the theatres are closed from the past few months. Apart from web-series, a lot of new films are being streamed on OTT platforms and they are getting an immense response. Many people are criticizing the fact that vulgarity, violence and profanity are dominating the content in the online medium and they are demanding that OTT content should also be censored. It needs to be seen if the filmmakers control and filter their content or not.
