Chakri’s Death: Melody lost its cap

Untimely demise of Chakri has left music world in permanent mourning. Ever since he started scoring for Telugu flicks in 2002, Telugu audiences are enthralled by his melodious songs. Songs like Emo emavuno (Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam), Neeve Neeve (Amma Naanna O Tamil Ammayi), Vennello hai hai (Avunu Vaallidaru Ishtapaddaru) and Nuvvakkanduntey Nenikkadunta (Gopi Gopika Godari) are still evergreen and always resonates in the ears. With Chakri’s death, those songs have now become heart-wrenching things, as a slight sound of them ignites the bare truth that the guy who composed them is nowhere in this world. Undeniably, ‘melody’ has last its cap with his death, while those songs will be written permanently in golden books of Telugu cinema.
