Character Artiste Chalapathi Rao has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons in the recent past. He received backlash for commenting that Women are meant to share bed with Men at the audio launch of 'Ra Randoi Veduka Chudam'. Even before people could forget it, This Senior Actor made a regressive remark on women.
Chalapathi Rao: 'Women are wearing t-shirt & jeans these days. I am not saying that it's something wrong! But, Girls were given voni after they reach puberty at the age of 13 or 14 to cover their chest. But, How they have been using the voni's Today?'.
'Youngsters will comment if your dressing isn't right. It's better for women to move on keeping their head down rather than fighting with eve-teasers. Or else, They need to change their dressing first'.
When the Anchor pointed out 'Men tease even those Women who're dressed in a traditional manner', The Actor opined that comes under the Freedom-of-Expression and Women shouldn't bother about such matters.
Chalapathi Rao claimed NTR is his inspiration and he doesn't mince his words just alike the Legendary Actor. He also told NTR regretted entering politics where there are many backstabbers.
