Chanakya' is a spy thriller based on India and Pakistan rivalry. Ramakrishna (Gopichand) who works as a Bank Employee is actually a RAW Agent Arjun. Arjun leads a dangerous mission in Karachi but to his shock RAW for which he works for wants him to be dead. Why is it so?
A Cute Love Story between Gopichand and Mehreen Kaur in the banking set-up looks interesting. A comedy sequence featuring Sunil reminds us of a double meaning comedy block in 'Dubai Seenu'.
Music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar is good. Cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy is okay. Dialogues penned by Abburi Ravi could have been better. Rama Brahmam Sunkara bankrolled this project on AP Entertainments banner. Story, Screenplay and Direction is by Thiru.
'Chanakya' appears to be a decent spy thriller. It is scheduled to release on October 5th inspite of the arrival of 'Sye Raa' in the same week. That shows the confidence of the makers on its Box Office potential. Let's only wish their judgement doesn't go wrong!
